“Love and sight…

“Love and sight is what You granted
trust inside so we believe
I lay outside this very night
to dream of what You’ve done for me”
(Jon.3:16)(1Jo.4:19)(Jon.3:27)(2Ptr.1:3)

One day

I will be traveling to Thailand, eight days from now. I am getting even more excited, every hour it gets closer. Thank you for sharing your time in Thailand.

Shimmy Shimmy Bang Bang

Twenty four hours from now I’ll be in a taxi on the way back to the airport. I’ll be heading home, back to the UK, after a fabulous nine days in Thailand, Phuket. This trip was a work trip, I was attending an annual sales conference for our Asia sales reps, and presenting to them throughout. I was lucky enough to sneak in a few days before and after, on the weekends, and I rekindled my deep love for this wonderful country.

And now I only have one day left.

As the clock ticks down to that final taxi ride, my mind races with all the possibilities of what I could do in my final day. A full day tour to a national park with a starlight canoe tour? An elephant safari and monkey show (!)? A taxi ride to the biggest “Wat” (temple) on the island, a spiritual top…

The Great Smokey Moutains

The Great Smokey Moutains

About every other year my family and I travel to Tennessee for vacation. I feel as if Tennessee is my second home. It is filled with beautiful views and beautiful music. Oh how I miss Tennessee.

“Your righteousness is like the mighty mountains, your justice like the great deep. O LORD, you preserve both man and beast. How priceless is your unfailing love! Both high and low among men find refuge in the shadow of your wings. They feast on the abundance of your house; you give them drink from your river of delights.  For with you is the fountain of life; in your light we see light. Continue your love to those who know you, your righteousness to the upright in heart.” -(Psalm 35:5-9)

“But the wisdom…

“But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere.” (James 3:17)

Early this morning around, 6:20 am I received this Bible verse from a great friend of mine, Liz. These past few weeks, I have been feeling very alone. I feel so far away from God, I feel as if my relationship is stale. I had not really realized this until I was talking with my very dear friend. I am so blessed to have her in my life, I was so thankful that she sent this passage of Scripture to me. Liz is helping me get my relationship right with God so that I can over fill my love for God with others.

Puting the PRO in Procrastination

So I am sit here on this circle lime green chair in my other section with my lovely friends, Sarah and Anna. While sitting here, attempting to write my English Composition paper on the affects of advertisement. It is at times like these that I realize the affect of noise that distracts me. I suddenly realize that there is so much going on, there are girls down the hallway talking, Pink Panther is playing (on mute with subtitles, makes it more entertaining at times), spotify playing Josh Groban’s beautiful voice, and the sound of my fingers typing. We are always surrounded my sound, it does not go away. We cannot escape it.

I am half deaf, I have two hearing aids. Now saying that I am so, I am not ashamed, I am becoming much more thankful. Now would I have said this during my middle school or high school career, probably not. But, it what makes me, me. It is apart of me, and will always be apart of me. My very good friend, Sarah she too has hearing problems. She has a cochlear implant. Sarah and I were meant to be friends. Her good ear is her left side and my good ear is my right side. While walking, we can hear each other knowing which side is needed for the both of us. It is very neat to see how that worked out, and I am blessed. Sarah and I are going to be roommates this coming Fall Semester 2013, in Clemens, and we are beyond excited! I am very excited to see what God has in store for us this coming 2013 Fall Semester.

Now, I do know that this post is bouncing off every corner of a wall but, that is okay, it is almost 2 am and I have a long night a head of me. I would like to write a blog every day, in hoping that my writing will become better. In hoping that because I do not enjoy writing that I will enjoy it more and will not hold off my papers the night before they are due. I do hope in become a better reader, writer, and listener. May God show me something through the blogs. May God speak to me and possibly to another reading.

I believe that it is soon time to soon start my paper on how advertisement affects our society today, with a biblical worldview. I will return to my playlist of Josh Groban on my addiction, spotify. May you all have a good night.

God Bless.

“I will praise you, O Lord, with all my heart; I will feel all your wonders.” (Psalm 9:1)
