Where Has My Summer Gone?

Hello fellow bloggers. I have not been on for quite sometime, I have been pretty busy with work. Not that anyone really cares or really truly reads my blog. But, I just felt the need to throw that in there.

As many are writing, fall semester is just around the corner, and I cannot believe it. Where has my summer gone?

Many upon many will be asking that. Some more than others. There are many out there, getting all ready for the big move in day. It is very exciting and nerve wrecking all at the same time. But, make it the time of your life. Now, that does not mean you have to drink or go to parties to have fun. Make life long friends, have memories, laugh, cry, but most importantly, learn. Now, that would seem like a duh kind of question, but many do not learn from their professors, their mentors, friends or even fellow classmates. This is a time to learn, to find out who we are or who we want to be. It is a time to grow, to make mistakes, to succeed, to laugh, to cry, to sleep (or what is of it), and to love.

College is a place where if you didn’t have the best high school experience to change that and have a clean plate for college. Be who you were made to be. Be the person maybe you want to be, a few changes here and there won’t hurt.

Now, my thoughts are just spilled into this web-post. I am sorry for my bad grammar and for thoughts that have just been thrown out there. It will get better, as it is only my second year in college, I hope to become more of a writer and reader. I love both, but it is a challenge at times to do either. Here’s to learning, laughing, making mistakes, and loving this year. Make the most of every moment.

Until next time.

Puting the PRO in Procrastination

So I am sit here on this circle lime green chair in my other section with my lovely friends, Sarah and Anna. While sitting here, attempting to write my English Composition paper on the affects of advertisement. It is at times like these that I realize the affect of noise that distracts me. I suddenly realize that there is so much going on, there are girls down the hallway talking, Pink Panther is playing (on mute with subtitles, makes it more entertaining at times), spotify playing Josh Groban’s beautiful voice, and the sound of my fingers typing. We are always surrounded my sound, it does not go away. We cannot escape it.

I am half deaf, I have two hearing aids. Now saying that I am so, I am not ashamed, I am becoming much more thankful. Now would I have said this during my middle school or high school career, probably not. But, it what makes me, me. It is apart of me, and will always be apart of me. My very good friend, Sarah she too has hearing problems. She has a cochlear implant. Sarah and I were meant to be friends. Her good ear is her left side and my good ear is my right side. While walking, we can hear each other knowing which side is needed for the both of us. It is very neat to see how that worked out, and I am blessed. Sarah and I are going to be roommates this coming Fall Semester 2013, in Clemens, and we are beyond excited! I am very excited to see what God has in store for us this coming 2013 Fall Semester.

Now, I do know that this post is bouncing off every corner of a wall but, that is okay, it is almost 2 am and I have a long night a head of me. I would like to write a blog every day, in hoping that my writing will become better. In hoping that because I do not enjoy writing that I will enjoy it more and will not hold off my papers the night before they are due. I do hope in become a better reader, writer, and listener. May God show me something through the blogs. May God speak to me and possibly to another reading.

I believe that it is soon time to soon start my paper on how advertisement affects our society today, with a biblical worldview. I will return to my playlist of Josh Groban on my addiction, spotify. May you all have a good night.

God Bless.

“I will praise you, O Lord, with all my heart; I will feel all your wonders.” (Psalm 9:1)
